Extra I. Making a Daughter

"I guess Cayden is blown away by the view from his new home," Max said, stroking the baby's back. At that very moment, the Little Prince's eyelashes swept the glass. But after that, he didn't move anymore.

“Is that so, Little Prince? Do you like watching the sea from this house?” Gabriella asked, bringing her face closer to her son's.

Suddenly, Cayden turned his head so that his cheek hit the wall. “Cacacaca!” he shouted, smiling brightly. A second later, he pressed his forehead against the transparent wall again and watched how the water moved.

“It seems that you will have no trouble keeping the Little Prince here. The beauty of nature makes him calm,” Max whispered as he looked at his wife warmly.

"Yes. I hope he doesn't get bored too soon,” Gabriella said while stroking her son's head.

After a glance, the woman also looked in the same direction. There was nothing but water, clouds, and the reflection of the sun that made the waves seem sparkling.
