Giselle listened to the dial tone on the phone after Bettina had hung up. She felt a little dejected. Bettina had not given her the chance to ask any more questions after she had said, ‘Annetta White’. It perplexed Giselle how an ugly girl like Annetta would be suitable for the boss.
