JULIA

I noticed there was a change between Reneé and Janet right away. Reneé was acting quite bossy and Janet quite timid. In fact, Janet was acting quite timid in front of all of us, and I suspected it was due to last night’s activities, which probably still had her quite confused. Today was a Zumba class followed by weight work on the legs. Neither Janet nor Reneé had ever done Zumba before, so every time there was a move change, it took them a while to catch up. Reneé berated Janet for being unable to keep up even though she was having the same trouble. After about twenty minutes, I'd had enough of it. I reared back and smacked Reneé's upper thigh so hard, the entire class heard it. Reneé jumped two feet, startled and everyone looked at us.

"What was that for?" She whined, rubbing her leg.

"Come with me," I ordered. "You too, Janet."
