Chapter 105. Breaking into Minds

"It will not matter if you kill them, Naomi. After this, we will not need them alive anyway," Azriel added but Naomi was still not convinced. 

She leaned against Daegal's chest for solace. "What if I kill them before I get any information? I don't know if I can do this..."

Daegal turned her to face him. "You can. And if you kill them, who cares? No one else knows you have this power in you, so others will just think our torture methods were ineffective on them. We just need you to try, beloved."

Naomi chewed on her bottom lip so hard that she almost drew blood. "Okay. Okay."

Azriel patted her back as she stepped closer to the captured soldiers.
