I have so many things on my plate right now, and I know Nadine can sense that something's off. 

But how do I sit her down and explain everything that's happening? I'm not even sure where to start. 

So, here I am, standing at her front porch at six in the morning, ringing the doorbell and hoping Rosa will hear me. 

She opens the door, still looking half-asleep. 

It's the weekend, and I'm sure everyone should be cozy in their beds, enjoying a lazy morning. But I have something else in mind.

"Mr. West," she greets me, rubbing her eyes. 

"Good morning, Rosa," I say with a small smile. "Where's Nadine and Shawn?" 

"They're both in their rooms," stepping aside to help me with the groceries I'm carrying. 

I'm planning to make a nice breakfast for Nadine, hoping she'll like it. But that's not all I have planned.
