Chapter 57

Stacy entered his office with the files required. She didn't fail to notice Ivan's bright mood. She thanked her stars for what ever the reason was. 

“Here,” Ivan patted a space for her to place the files. He returned his attention to the book he was reading. 

“Sir…” Stacy called cautiously. She didn't want to offend the man. Ivan looked up from his book.

“What?” 

Her initial courage drained from her body the moments he spoke. 

Ivan exuded a cold aura, making it difficult for anyone to approach him. It had taken her all the courage in the world to dare to come before him!

Ivan closed his book and scrutinized her. It was then he realised that Lucien had said the truth. Stacy was indeed beautiful and he thought she would look good underneath him. 

“I will ask you one more time. What is the problem? Speak or use the door.”
