Chapter 103
King POV
When we got home from the job, Mr. Rivera’s pathetic pleas were still ringing in my ears, but we washed his blood off at the clubhouse. Mason heads straight to his room with a muttered “Goodnight,” leaving me in the hallway, torn. Part of me wants him back in our bed. He’s been keeping his distance lately at night, and while I don’t push, I notice. Alyssa might need him tonight. If she does, I’ll have to drag his ass back, whether he likes it or not.
In my room, Alyssa and Niko are already asleep, a pile of naked, tangled limbs. The sight tugs at something deep in my chest. Niko’s arm is draped protectively over her belly, her fingers loosely gripping his wrist. Damn, seems like they had a party while we were gone.
