Bella’s POV

“Where’s Kevin?”

He stopped what he was doing and looked at me with his gentle eyes, yet my face remained plain. “He’s playing outside love.” He answered.

I walked towards the refrigerator and opened it. Getting a glass of water as I didn’t mind his eyes.

“What do you want to eat love?” His baritone voice was soothing, but I didn’t care. He looked at the ingredients that he was preparing. “You also like sweet and sour so—”

“I don’t.” I mumbled as I barely set my eyes to him.

“Huh?”

I turned my eyes. “I said I don’t.” I repeated.

He awkwardly scratched the back of his head. Looking at this man, I realized that he’s such a good actor. He pretended like he genuinely cares for me.

His eyes went to mine. “Then I should cook your—”

“Whatever.” I said with a low voice. His eyes slightly trembled. “Cook whatever you want.” I added before walking away.
