Secret Chapter 1

Black’s POV

“Hi! Are you alone?” A cute little voice woke me up from my nap. As I lifted my head, her soft features surprised me. “Isn’t it scary to be alone here?”

That moment changed my life. Right after my birthday, my grandparents died and so I ran away from home to at least ease the pain that I’m feeling. I didn’t know why my feet brought me here, in an empty amusement park. And as I saw the little girl before my eyes, something intense kicked inside of me.

I, the oldest child of the De Villa family received a huge amount of pressure and expectations within the business circle. I could only feel the peace and comfort whenever I’m near with my grandparents. But now that they’re gone, my world feels empty. My parents are all great, but I became dependent to my grandparents more and so it pained me to know that they’re not coming back to life. I wasn’t even a teen yet.
