They hung out and talked for a while longer after Raine brought the girls’ drinks back to the table. The guys invited the girls to their bar the next night. When they showed up, they realized it was a biker bar.

“Ah, Sam? This is a biker bar,” Raine replied.

“So? We were invited,” Sam replied.

They went inside and went to the bar. Raine asked about the job opening Cowboy told her about. She and the owner had words. He was the President of the motorcycle club. He and Raine had sparks the girls could see. And Sam couldn’t take her eyes off Smokey.

Later, they were all sitting at a table talking.

“So, what do you do for a living?” Smokey asked Sam.

“I’m a nurse,” Sam smiled.
