Chapter 20. He's Alive

Luna Asterbelle's POV

I believe that about a month has passed since the last time that I saw Eman. He never got in contact with me, and I could no longer sense the little bit of aura that he emits no matter where I go. As I realized how I was wasting my time waiting for someone who wouldn't even return, I suddenly thought of an idea.

I bit my lip as I knew how risky this plan was, but Eman was leaving me with no other choice than to intentionally put myself on the verge of danger.

Eman swore that he'd come to save me every time I was about to get harmed, right?

That thought alone was the sole reason left for me to trust him. Once he doesn't show up, then... I guess I have to totally abandon my faith in him.

I roamed around the dim areas of Grimstone, making sure that I wouldn't end up in the territories of the Blood Moon Pack. I am not ready to face the Asterbelles yet.
