Chapter 59. The Turmoil
King Dawn's POV
Luna obviously ran away from both me and Shin; I haven’t seen her since I saw the both of them getting out of the basement, where Shin was keeping his women hidden in his cells. I’ve known the three of them for years, and Shin was the least dangerous one, while his brother, Nero, was the only one frightening.
I have no idea since when the tables have been turned. Shin seemed like he no longer cared whether someone got hurt; he’d even be the one to torture his own pack members, even if they were women. And judging by the rumors I’ve heard, he couldn’t care less if those women died since he was cursed to have no mate to begin with.
"With the way that you’re treating Luna, you’re just going to scare the hell out of her. She would never welcome you in that state," I seriously said to Shin, as if my words would even get to his brain. For all I know, he’d rather pretend not to listen to me since he’s that thick-headed.
