Alpha Aiden’s POV

Waking up the next day I got down to business, going to see Camille and to get an honest answer to some questions on her being the warriors child and not being an imposter.

As I approached the dungeon, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disgust and anger towards my mate. She had been the cause of so many problems recently, headaches and I not getting a better mate so I had no pity for her as he walked down the cold, damp corridors remembering everything she had cost me.

Maybe she deserved all the pain she’s getting also. I had commanded the guards to leave the gate as I needed some privacy with her.

I approached her cell and saw her huddled in the corner, her once proud and beautiful face now swollen and her eyes puffed from too much crying I suppose.
