Hailen’s POVI came to, feeling a strong headache come on. I winced as the throbbing in my head got intense. Where was I? I shivered from the cold, brisk air. Wait, why was I seeing the stars and moon? This isn’t my room, and this isn’t Hazel’s room either. Hazel? My blood shot up as I suddenly remembered the girl I was supposed to be taking care of. The throbbing intensified, but it was the least of my worries. Where was she? I lifted myself from the cold, wet grass. My heart raced as my eyes scouted the wild, eerie darkness of the night. Oh, moon goddess, where was she? What had happened to her? My mind, in a flash, swiftly recollected what had transpired. We’d both been on a night stroll to ease her discomfort and provide her with some fresh air. I’d noticed a strange movement among the bushes, then it stopped.
