Sighing, I raked a hand through my hair and folded my hands into tight fists.

She was wrong, I thought grimly.

Dead wrong about everything.

He had no feelings whatsoever for her and she certainly wasn't in love with me.

And that talk about me being an emotional coward was quite laughable. What I do is actually called self-preservation for god's sake!
