"Well, for a start, it's already something," said Mariana, tearing off her shoes while sitting on the bed. She knew exactly the points where she should sit without the furniture creaking, but she herself emitted a loud moan when throwing herself on the sheets. For very little she didn't hit her head on the upper floor stairs. "And, it's a lot of progress that Picasso greeted you. That man thinks he's so much that he doesn't even look anyone in the face. Most of the time, he is dictating orders and diverting his eyes. I've never seen anyone impose so much fear just for the voice. He doesn't face anyone.

But he had stared at me. And I had been staring at me for so long that I did the same back. Maybe I was the one who started and he just wanted to know how far my audacity would lead? If he wanted to find out, he had succeeded.

And I didn't doubt that he wouldn't face anyone. It was an attitude of despicable people
