Chapter 4. Second-Chance Mate

Alpha Caden's POV:

'This useless rut! You think you can fu*king rebel against us! " The ugly captor with a long scar running down the left side of his cheek pierced the long iron nail into my arm.

My sleep was always disturbed by vivid flashbacks of my time in slavery. The sound of chains rattling and the smell of sweat and blood would fill my senses, transporting me back to the horrors of my past.
