Chapter 22. Promises Are Meant to Be Broken

KEIRA’s POV

I could only stand and stare as he tore out a form from the papers on his desk, hurriedly filling it up despite me being a wailing mess. I knew what the forms were for. To sign me up for another therapist different from him. He was going to make me someone else's problem.

"You told me I was going to get better," I forced out and he looked up from the form he filled. "You promised to help me."

"Promises are meant to be broken."

Clint sounded like he had made up his mind and there was nothing I could do to change it. And then I had an idea.

"Fuck it out of me instead," I sniffed, walking closer to him. "That is the best way to go instead of abandoning me. Fuck out of my sex addiction."

His eyes snapped shut. "Keira..."

"We just need to try it." I whimpered, desperation filling my voice. I could not lose Clint.

When his eyes opened again, all trace of resistance was gone, replaced with lustful need. "You asked for it."
