Chapter 47. The Unexpected Visitor

The sun hung low over us as Nicole, and I jogged through the streets hand in hand, and a gentle breeze brushed our hair back from our faces. 

The city was bustling, with a few people milling about on street corners or in restaurants, others rushing past the sidewalk with their hands tucked into their coats, and my eyes washed over everywhere. 

I could add couples loitering, and a sly smile crossed my lips as I remembered I'd be seeing Robert soon. 

It was only yesterday that he'd given me heady orgasms in his car, and we'd spent the evening together, but it felt like an eternity since I'd seen him.

Even as I jogged, his farewell words from the night before echoed in my ears, and I blushed uncontrollably, hoping Nicole wouldn't notice. 

"Can you tell me what we're having for dinner?" Nicole asked, tugging at my sleeve and hitting my shoulders, and I stopped jogging, pausing to catch my breath as I discarded my though
