Chapter 67. A Friend or a Foe?

“Uncle Kilian…” Mira inches in closer with a wide smile on her face as she dried her sweat with a towel.

The workout had been intense but they definitely enjoyed it a lot.

“Yes, Mira…” He smiled at her while taking a sip of a cup of hot tea.

“Will you be visiting Guardian Yvonne?” Mira asked, settling down in the chair beside him.

“I might. Why do you ask?” Kilian looked nonchalant.

“Ummm, nothing as such. I thought you might want to meet my mother.” She added.

“I bet I must… but it can wait. My time here is limited. I need to use it with you guys more than I need it with your mother.” He leaned forward. “I bet there might be questions that you need desperate answers to but you will not have any access to their answers except through me, for the time being at least.”

He winked at Mira and leaned back.
