"You never told me why you were looking for me."
Startled, I jumped at the sudden voice in my ear. It was two days later, and after avoiding Alessandro for as long as I could, he finally caught me off guard.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you are avoiding me."
I knew it was a bad idea for me to be in the lounge, knowing Alessandro could very well pass by at any moment, but I didn't have a choice. Unlike Alessandro's room, my room didn't have a TV, and I had to watch something so I wouldn't be bored out of my mind.
Alessandro dropped beside me. "When I talk to you, sweetheart, I expect to get a response." He growled slightly. It seemed like he always got worked up when he was around me.
