Chapter 108. I’m Scared

Zain's POV

“After that, I just ran away from there and directly come to you. I’m a murderer, Zain. The world is so cruel, now I’m scared. I’m so stupid to believe in everyone.” She’s crying her heart aloud, hiding her face in my chest and clutching my blazer. My heart is aching, seeing her condition.

I clasped her face and made her look into my eyes. “You’re very strong, Princess and you know, I’m proud of you. The way you always fight for yourself. It just that you have a big heart, you want to help others. You can’t see anybody in problem and pain.” I tried to console her. Tears are trickling down her soft cheeks constantly.

“But now-now I’m a murderer, Zain. Police-police will arrest me.” She shuttered, her sorrowful eyes glinted with fear. I’m fighting back with my tears, seeing her doleful look and tears in her eyes.

“You haven’t done anything wrong. Police won’t arrest you and I’m with you. I won’t let anything happen to you, trust me.”
