Chapter 81. My Old Alice Is Back

Alice's POV

The next morning

After a long and arduous three weeks, I wake up with a genuine smile on my face, and it widens as I find myself nestled in the arms of Alexander.

Last night was different; it was a turning point for me. Finally, I felt warmth and contentment as he made love to me. At that moment, all the pain and scars I carried within seemed to vanish. Despite the visible scars on my body, he made me feel like the most beautiful person in the world.

It brought a glimmer of hope into my darkened life, showing me I could find happiness again. So, from now on, I will try to forget the torture I endured as if it were a nightmare that didn’t actually happen. I want to embrace life to the fullest with Alexander by my side.
