Chapter 29
Tea's POV
Jesse's eyes tracked my every movement as I crossed the parking lot.
My heart sped up at the intense look he wore. He was always easygoing and calm; I'd never seen him look like he was feeling so much.
As I approached him, I tried to come up with something to say. A good way to bring up the topic, or the right words to apologize for the harsh things I’d said and the stress I’d caused him.
But all thoughts of apologies fled my mind when Jesse covered the remaining distance between us in three steps.
With one rough movement, he crushed my body to his and pressed his lips to mine.
It took my mind a minute to catch up, but when I did, I reacted. Jesse didn’t know much about kissing, but a tiny press of the lips meant nothing to me.
