Chapter 34

Days went by and all Pandora could do was strategize ways she could use to escape from the prison Jose had kept her in. Her heart constantly in tremor at every glance at him. She told Antonio to keep checking on Max and he was fine. Jose hasn't made a move yet.

After about a week of helplessness, Pandora woke up to the sound of her alarm clock. She was used to it every morning as she had nothing attending to do. A powerful woman now reduced to a mere housewife as she would make Jose's breakfast every morning and then his dinner.

She was tempted to inject poison in his food every time but that would only be a suicide attempt. There was no way she could possibly get out of the mansion alive.

The night was cold as the gust of cold wind blew inside Pandora's room through the opened windows. She was shivering in her sleep but yet, unable to jerk from the bed
