Chapter 64

"Are you hurt?" Antonio whimpered, as he held her up.

"I'm fine." 

She whispered to him as they kept on their heel. Antonio seems to know where they were headed. Pandora didn't ask any questions. She suddenly started feeling a little bit of pain, but she ignored and struggles to catch up with Antonio.

They got to the road, and Antonio's car was just parked right opposite. They ran to the car, escaping the bullets Manuel was firing at them. 

Antonio tries to start the car's engine, but it was taking longer than usual. Pandora's heart was thumping erratically and her lips parted in shock. 

Her gaze met Manuel's, as his shot drew nigher to them. She wondered if tonight would be her last, and if it was, her only regret was she failed to tell Max how much he met to her. 

Suddenly the engine roar to life but her eyes were widely opened staring at Manuel as he aimed his gun directly to her forehead. She duck on the car's floor, Manuel
