I felt a little guilty because, of course, I lied. I was going to pass by Brent's house, and we were going to school together.
"Mom, I'll go ahead," I said and quickly gave her my respect before leaving the house.
Luckily, the soreness in my private area wasn't too bad, so I was fine even if I had to walk quickly.
"Take care," my mom reminded me.
"Okay, Mom," I replied.
I felt like the devil was chasing me in my haste. In fact, before half-past six in the morning, I was already outside Brent's house. I rang the doorbell twice before he opened the door for me.
"Morning, love," he greeted me, causing my heart to jump again.
"Morning, did you just wake up?" I asked him when I noticed he was only wearing boxer shorts and nothing on top.
"No, I've been awake for a while, but I haven't bathed yet. I prioritized cooking our breakfast," Brent said.
