Chase’s POV
“You said you wanted me gone.” She replied.
plied, not slowing down. I had already almost closed in on her.
She was just about to fetch her car keys and unlock the car when I caught her hand.
“Emma, baby, please.” I couldn’t hide my teary eyes anymore. I’d worn sun shades throughout the day, scared that I might see something I’d find triggering. But that was no use with her.
