[Five Days Later]

“Call me when you’re done, okay baby?” Ezra kisses me.

“I will.”

He reaches over and plants a soft kiss on Hannah’s cheek and she plants one on him too. “Bye daddy.”

As we step out of his car, he holds my wrist gently and I’m compelled to sit back down.

Hannah’s already yapping the three bikers ears off, and I bite back my grin.

“Sweetheart?” Ezra murmurs. “Feel free to splurge, okay? You see something you like, go for it. Don’t look at the price tags.”

I snort a chuckle. “I’m not going to splurge, babe. We’re having a baby soon.”

“I knew you’d say that which is why Judi’s in charge of the card.”
