Chapter 139

Veronica listened to all of Andrei’s plans. She then furrowed her brows.

“What will this do? You will only crush Damon? You know I love him, right? I think you’re saying these to the wrong person.” She crossed her arms and frowned at Andrei.

“This is where you’ll come in then. You’ll ask for him to marry you to save him from bankruptcy. With this, you’ll get your man, and Damon would only be a puppet under us, relying at our support with his empty title.” Andrei answered with an evil smile.

Veronica was taken a back by this. She narrowed her eyes at Andrei.

“Why are you really doing this?” She asked with raised brows. She knows this was not a normal revenge and getting back at Damon.

Andrei heard this and smiled, as he didn’t hide his intentions.

“I’m just taking back what’s mine.” He answered as he leaned back on his chair and sipped his wine. 

Veronica’s mind also churned. And that possession was obvious. 

It was Anya.
