"I need to find a way to get him to stop eating my shoes, it's a serious problem," I lament.

"You can eat whatever you want, my boy. I'll even get you some humans to eat if that's what you want," Lexcis jokes.

"Lexcis!" I exclaim, whacking his arm, causing Arcane to growl.

"Really? You're picking his side?" Lexcis retorts with a smirk.

Arc growls again as if he's answering me. He then forces his head onto my lap, making me drop to the ground this time while he essentially hugs me.

The suite door opens, Zave sticks his head out smiling when he sees the three of us waiting on him, "Okay come on, they're as ready as they can be."

I get up, sucking a deep breath in. Hearing Lexcis's voice is the thing that calms me, "Want me to step in first?"

"Yes, please. I'll be right behind you," I reply, feeling a bit nervo
