Dane, who had walked away to give us some privacy, returns. He's starting quite intently and that seems to attract Lexcis's attention, "Something wrong?" He asks through gritted teeth when he sees Dane staring at me.

But his stare is curious and certainly not something else. His words prove that. "Apologies for your grace but I thought I saw some blood on the back of her highness' head."

My hand reaches out to it but Lexcis is way quicker, his hand in my hair as he searches. He pulls out a single red leaf, it probably stuck in my hair when I fell.

"Thank you, Dane. Arc jumped on top of me and I fell, it's probably from that."

Lexcis gives him a curt nod, that's his unusual way of thanking people.

Dane nods and proceeds, "The Mansion is safe to enter, the fire didn't reach it and the smoke will fade soon."
