My entire face flushes when she says that. I swallow and I know she notices it. She notices everything. "You should go now."

Her words echo through my head but I can't find the strength to get up. It's like my shoes are filled with stones and I can't carry that weight. So I drop myself back onto the ground, lying down instead of getting up.
