Chapter 231. Final Closure

Charlotte’s POV

Velvet came at me fast and unpredictable.

Her movements were so unreadable that sometimes I would expect her to punch me only for it to be a feint and she ends up kicking me instead.

The power behind her blows also made it difficult to block her attacks, so it was best to match her blow for blow.

As she punched me, I punched her, as she kicked me, I kicked back, my movements were quick enough for my attacks to land before she could counter.

It was beginning to feel like a stalemate. Both sides were giving an inch.

Even with my flame control, Velvet took blows while still having her classic grin on her face.

“That’s it Charlotte! Keep on coming!” She threw her fist back and then punched me in the gut, I was sent flying and I would have lost the battle if I hadn’t created a huge fireball to stand on.
