As Ella realized what Damian was implying, her eyes widened. "I'm pregnant?"

"I don't know, what do you think?"

"Just a moment," Ella answered and took out her cellphone because she had an app installed that tracked her menstrual cycle. She had forgotten about it because of Monique's arrival. "Damian, look!" She excitedly showed Damian the calendar with information about her upcoming menstruation.

"Let's go!" Damian helped her stand up because they needed to go to the doctor immediately. "Hurry!"

"I'm only wearing house clothes," Ella complained.

"That's fine, let's go. Let's head to the clinic," Damian said.

Ella felt nervous when she heard the word "clinic" because she was still afraid of being disappointed. "Let's not rush, Damian. This might just be another false alarm."
