Chapter 42. Celestine Is Born

The next three months passed by with Sofia and Davion too wrapped up in their little world of love. Davion had made tremendous progress and, according to Terence, he was completely fit to walk, but his mental block was preventing him from doing so. Sofia tried coaxing him and encouraging him to the best of her abilities, but failed. Davion was scared to even stand on his feet. He needed a shock to make him forget his fears and get him up on his feet.

Sofia's due date was nearing, and she was a little apprehensive. Although Greta took care of her well, she worried all the time. So when her parents arrived at her house to support her, she was not only surprised but immensely relieved as well. Her parents spoke to Davion and encouraged him as well. The nursery was ready as per his wishes and every day; he wheeled himself inside and checked again and again. Sofia knew he was nervous, although he never showed her his fear.
