Chapter 139

Third POV

So both returned home to their separate wings.

Jack got to his wing, he caught a scent very close to his room that is different from Del's. It was somewhat manly. He got to his room as fast as he could and caught the male chief servant talking to Kelly again. Luckily it wasn't serious talk. He was just asking her about her meds and when she'll be taking it since the maid that was supposed to do it for her was running late. The sight really annoyed him but there was nothing he could do. He just barged in and sat down on his bed. Soon enough the servant left and Del wore a guilty look but he assured her that everything was fine.

While the chief male servant was heading back to his quarters, he kept having this fear that Jack would seek him out and beat him up again, but he couldn't do anything. He could only wait, being hopeful that it won't happen again.

Frances spotted Jeff at the gate and ran towards him. They hugged and went back into their wing
