Chapter 48

Yvonne's POV

"There is no visiting day within the week except on the eve of our passing out from the Academy but most parents come the following day, to the actual event.

"We have to go now!" Mom says after a few minutes of hugging. The bus allocates ten minutes to each of the trainees it's picking, after which it moves away, never to return, then you find your way to the Academy which isn't easy by this time except you have a personal car or some hired mobile services. I don't think we spent more than five minutes hugging, it would have taken more than that if not for the circumstances concerning being picked by the bus.

We take the luggage outside from where we head straight to the bus and the average-aged man standing by the door of the bus helps us with them to the side of the bus where bags and clothes are kept. "Goodbye mom, goodbye Nelly. I love you both, so much. Hope to see you soon." I give them one final kiss, each as I climb up the stairs of the giant y
