The chains of panic tightened around Paige and made her think she can't breathe. She struggled for oxygen. And the first breath she got she muttered. 

"You’ve got to be kidding me." Springing up from the bed, and dragging the bedsheet with her. She was fighting tears in the back of her eyes. "How…how could the condom have broken? I'm not on any pill."
