Chapter 30. Resisting
They are on good terms with Sandra, so they can freely throw jokes once in a while, and the manager won't mind.
Before the clock struck six, the guests started to arrive. Trisha greeted every customer just like Gilda and Rebecca would do. She stayed in her post while Rebecca and Gilda ushered the guests to their booths, one after another, and sometimes, both the receptionists would be gone to assist the clients, and Trisha would be left behind.
Around half-past seven in the evening, Zeth Newton came along with his friends. They were asking Trisha to lead the way to their booth. Trisha was the only one at the front desk and was having a hard time how to deal with her situation. The manager clearly told her never to leave her spot without her verbal and direct orders.
