Chapter 66

Caleb's POV

The Alpha had been flustered, and I could see the great deal of courage it took for him to talk about what was wrong. 

Griffin had called me aside earlier and told me that the Alpha would need my help if he were willing to talk about it. 

It had not taken so much for Griffin to convince him which meant that he trusted Griffin a lot. I didn't even know where to really go and even after I saw the warehouse and the ditch, it just seemed to me that she had simply disappeared into thin air. 

I checked the ditch and closed my eyes. The Alpha had given me the Luna's clothes, so I could pick her scent. I drew in a deep breath to see if I could pick up any scent. I didn't, so I got inside the ditch and took another breath. 

An unfamiliar scent wafted into my nose, I could sense the disturbance of its wolf and even though I tried harder to see if I could get more details, nothing else came. My head did not let go o
