Chapter 26. The Date
He trusted Kate and the fact that Kate genuinely loved Anita was something he could not deny, else being proved otherwise.
Thomas took Anita to Atlantis restaurant that evening. As Anita stepped down from the car, her eyes sparkled. She lived the sight of the city and imagined being able to conquer this whole place sooner.
As she thought, the touch of Thomas brought her back to her senses.
What the fuck was she thinking? Anita refused to accept the thought.
“Come in!” Thomas held her hand as they went in and sat down at the last seat that was close to the window.
Thomas picked that seat intentionally like he knew what Anita was comfortable with and what not.
“I love this place, Thomas,” she said openly. The admiration wasn’t something she was interested in hiding.
“I know. That’s why I brought you here instead.”
“We want these,” Thomas said to the waiter and focused on Anita.
