My nails dug into the nails of my palm as hope and anticipation swells up in my heart. This is a step ahead , a clear indication that I’m going to be free and will be home with my family soon.

I watched Alpha Aiden, following his cold yet calm and collected movements as he took the phone off his ear, pressed some buttons on it and placed his phone on a small vault on the left side of the dungeon.

He tapped his hands and a white transparent board ,looking like a medium sized transparent projector, immediately appeared on the opposite side of the dungeons.

I refuse to be impressed with all his expensive looking technology gadgets, I just want to see my parents.

“Don’t you dare!” I heard Nathan's voice before his red and extremely angry looking face came up on the screen, so bright and clear. It almost felt real.
