Chapter 56

Alpha Aiden 

I really don’t know for how long I have been swimming but even though my body seems so tired, my soul is not ready to give up till I find Nina. 

I could see the surface of the ocean yet it still seemed so far as the reflected light got farther and farther away. I looked down and the deep darkness I saw made me panic, it felt as if I was dragged down even more.I struggled to get out of the tightening grip of the water which made me lose more precious air. My chest was hurting badly and I could feel my heartbeat beat louder and louder. 

I swam harder and desperately needed air.I kicked, and tried to get to the surface.Everything started to hurt and my chest felt like someone stabbed me. Then, with my last strength, I kicked my legs once more. 

My body didn't hurt anymore, it felt like I was not going to make it and I knew it because I am suddenly all calm now.I thought about Scarlett, about my mother and then about Nina which ma
