Chapter 29. Attorney Chris

Attorney Chris crouched down to scoop up Val who had just passed out from the floor. He did so with relative ease as though Val was as light as a feather despite her unconscious weight.

The attorney's usual gentle expression was solemn at the moment as he headed towards the door to the bedroom, carrying Val like a princess. He had a little difficulty turning the door knob but he eventually made it into the room staggering a little bit.

Slump!

"Haah!" He heaved a deep sigh after managing to dump Valerie on the master bed with an intricate frame.

"That wasn't too hard!" He held his waist and moved unto the bed. He lay beside Val who had thoroughly passed out and brushed off the strand of hair that fell over her face.

"I thought you'd be much more of a trouble to my plans, considering you're quite... well... troublesome" Attorney Chris said to Val in a chuckle. 

He moved a finger down Val's face towards her neck and further to her shoulder. He s
