Chapter 157. Frank Harper Is Missing
A few minutes later, one of the passengers pointed to something in the distance. "Look! They're back. Frank Harper is safe!"
Seeing someone covered in a heating blanket, everyone cheered. The burden in Kara's heart suddenly lifted. Clutching her hands in front of her chest, she whispered, "Thank you, God. Thank you. You still give me a chance to be with Frank."
Wasting no time, Kara ran to the lower deck. She couldn't wait to welcome her lover. However, as soon as she met the passengers of the small ship, her happiness disappeared. The man who wrapped his body in a warming cloth was not the person she expected.
"Where's Frank?"
The black-clothed man grinned. Laughing with satisfaction, he showed a watch in his hand. "Sorry for your loss. Your lover fainted when he hit the ocean. His body was too heavy for me to carry. So, I just saved his watch."
Kara sighed in disbelief. Her feet staggered backwards. "No! Frank couldn't have passed out."
