Chapter 51. Picnic on the Beach
Philip put on a bigger smile. “We can also enjoy the view while talking about many things. There are lots of fun games that we can play too. You'll definitely like it.”
Barbara fell silent. She didn't seem interested. In fact, her heart tingled at the thought of the excitement.
"Come on," Philip persuaded again. "You said you wanted to learn new skills. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn to socialize."
"You think I'm a weirdo?" Barbara squinted.
Philip laughed lightly. "If not, let's go this Saturday. After the picnic, we can hang out for a while at the mall."
Barbara's eyes suddenly brightened. She seemed to find a good reason to accept the offer with the impression of being forced.
"Can we go to the mall after the picnic?"
Philip nodded. "So, we’re going picnic?" Philip stuck his little finger through the iron bars.
Barbara suppressed a smile. Glancing in another direction, she linked her finger to Philip's. "Deal."
