Chapter 22. A Bait for the Twins

Kara grimaced slightly. "That's not certain, Frank."

"But it's very possible. Now sleep. Don't think about anything else."

"Not thinking about anything is difficult, especially when I have a husband as handsome as you."

Frank snorted slightly. While stroking Kara's hair, he whispered, "Don't provoke me. Should I tell you a story so you can sleep?"

Kara let out a laugh. Her head shook lightly. "Just hug me. That's a more effective way to put me to sleep."

Frank widened his smile. "That's my favorite task." He was getting into the position. Then, patting Kara's arm, he kissed her occasionally.

Actually, guilt was still piling up in Frank's chest. However, he did not dare to discuss it yet. He was afraid that the Diana Johnson issue would mess up Kara's emotions again.
