Sophia's cheeks twitched faintly. Letting out a humiliated laugh, she put down the fork until it made a clink, a sign that her patience had evaporated.

"Do you realize, Frank? You've gone too far." With a cold expression, Sophia raised her head. Her eyes were piercing.

However, Frank was not afraid. He tilted his head, maintaining his innocent face. "What do you mean?"

"I've done a lot for you. I’ve helped you reconcile with Grandma, taken care of your mother, and invited you to this special dinner. But you don't appreciate me at all."

Frank shrugged his shoulders lightly. "What can I do? I'm already married, and you don't respect the truth either. Why should I show respect?"

"What am I lacking compared to Kara?" Sophia's voice started to become forceful. "Appearance? Intelligence? Ability? I think I'm far beyond her. I'm even closer to your grandmother and mother. But why do you still hold on to her?"
