Chapter 227. Alabama Hills
Hearing that, Emily frowned. "This is different from deserts in general, Louis. The location is five thousand feet above sea level. People call it the high desert. But actually, the Alabama Hills are an area of hills and rocks. Look!" Emily pressed her index finger to the window.
"It's not so barren here, it just looks dry. The air is also not as hot as the desert because there are lots of snowy mountains around it."
While turning his head, Louis blinked. His eyelids were slightly lowered. "I know that too. But to make it simpler, let's call it a desert."
Still with furrowed brows, Emily shook her head firmly. "Still different, Louis."
Jeremy was intrigued by the sweet debate. He looked back, said, "Emily, you're so smart. Where did you get that information?"
"I looked for it in the library with Louis, Uncle. Louis also read it and knows that the Alabama Hills are one of the oldest geological formations in the world. But he still calls it a desert."
